Jared W. Smith: On The Internet(s)

The bio page is under construction — but here’s the gist:

Born in San Diego on a sunny day in 1984. Moved around a bunch as a kid (Ethan Allen, not military) and ended up in Goose Creek, SC back in ‘88. Moved to Pennsylvania in ‘89 just ahead of Hugo. Came back to Goose Creek in ‘90 and have stuck pretty close ever since. I went to Lander University for a year before moving back to Charleston over a silly girl and possibly better opportunities in computer science. (I ended up losing the girl and got frustrated with computer science, so there you go.) I’m now extremely bachelorly and working on a degree in communication with an emphasis in media studies (yeah, I know, stereotypical CS kiddie couldn’t cut it and went to comm to graduate — not quite like that for me, though) to pursue an old flame for broadcasting.
